Dear Maple adults and children,

Welcome to Spring Term in Maple Class in 2021!

Spring term will be packed full of learning and fun: all details can be found on the termly overview below.

We are exploring crime and punishment throughout history. In Science, we are describing, dissecting and growing plants. In Maths, we are continuing with fractions and revisiting place value and multiplication and division. (There are some Parent Packs in the Useful Documents section below relating to both these areas and for both Year 2 and 3 if you would like to have a better understanding of expectations of your child and strategies used). "On a Magical Do-Nothing Day" is our focus book this half-term and we are writing rain poems, informal letters and dialogue based on this beautiful and inspiring book. In RE, we are concluding our study of Judaism and discussing the importance of Easter.
