The dust is starting to settle following our epic adventure to Djibouti with Gifting Goals, but the learning there continues, and that’s thanks to you!

You know all those raffle tickets you’ve bought since the summer, hoping to win cake? Well, by doing that, you’ve helped make a difference in three different schools in Djibouti, supporting many children.

Every penny of the money you’ve sent in to school so far has gone to purchasing the STEM kits you can see in these classrooms in Djibouti; resources that ordinarily would not be available in this part of the world. These kits will help improve language, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, critical thinking, teamwork, and many other key skills.

This is just one of the schools you’ve helped. The same three sets of resources went to the nomadic school we gave bags to last year, and three have been put aside for the brand new preschool that is currently being built following the success of the one you can see in the pictures — the first ever pre-school available for children in Djibouti!

It was a privilege for Miss Dare, Miss Trowbridge, and Mrs Chesterton, alongside the Gifting Goals team, to deliver and teach using these kits, but it wouldn’t have been possible without your help. So a huge thank you!
