Children get the opportunity to take part in two residential trips during their time at Chilthorne Domer. 

Year 4

Children in year 4 get to visit a PGL activity centre and experience their first taste of being away from home with their friends. This is a 3-day, 2-night trip and this year takes place between 27th and 29th April 2026. Staff accompanying the children are Mrs Chesterton, Mrs Startup and Mrs White. 

Year 5 or 6

Upper key stage two children will have this opportunity to visit London in either year 5 or year 6. Our trips fall on even years. This trip is 3 days and 2 nights and children get to experience lots of what our capital city has to offer, including the zoo, museums, a river cruise, the London Eye and even a West End show!

Our London trip is planned for 10th - 12th June 2026 and the staff accompanying the trip are Mrs Chesterton, Mrs Bond, Miss Trowbridge, Mrs White, Miss Dare, Mrs Abbott and Mrs Webb.
