This week the children explored activities all about the polar regions.  The children learnt that the Arctic Circle is the cold region in the north of planet Earth.  This is where the polar bears live.  The children also learnt that Antarctica is in the south of planet Earth.   This is where the penguins live.  

During exploring time, Ash Class investigated penguins in snow and ice.
