Welly Walk

Ash Class take a spring welly walk to see new born lambs.
Today Ash Class had a short walk to our Chair of Governor's farm to see some newly born lambs. On their way to the farm they saw lots of signs of Spring: daffodils and primroses growing, and blossom and buds appearing on the trees. As we arrived at the farm we could hear the sheep bleating. It was very exciting. The children were able to stand really close to the lambs and were even able to stroke one. Then Mr Luscombe let us feed the sheep. The children learnt that the lambs are still having milk as their food at the moment. Afterwards, the children had the chance to see the chickens who live on the farm and saw the eggs that they lay.
