The Bible speaks of Jesus’ desire for us to know life in all its fullness, and reminds us that great journeys can begin with a single step of faith. As we step into this year, may we do so with confidence, knowing that the Christian faith teaches that Jesus can be with us — our guide, companion and source of strength.

Thank you for the summer that has passed and for the new school year ahead.

Help me to step into this new academic year with confidence and courage

Help me to channel any nervousness or fear into positive energy and preparation

Thank you for those who are stepping into the new year with me, for encouragement and support

Thank you that you walk with me too, as my guide and my companion

Thank you for the new school year ahead and all the opportunities it will bring.
