Week beginning 6th July
Well done everybody for completing another week! You are nearly there - only two weeks to go and you can start the Summer Holidays! Look out for an invitation to our end of year get together, it would be lovely to see you all before the holidays.
Have a great week and see you on Zoom on Tuesday!
Week beginning 29th June
Welcome to Week 5! It has been so fantastic seeing so many of you joining us for our Zoom meetings and it has really cheered up all of us who are in school - I hope you are enjoying them too? We will also continue to try to be on Mathletics at around 10am everyday so you can join us in a tournament if you wish. Please continue with your Island Topic. I have added some resources below which you might find useful this week.
You have all been at home for a very long time now and I know that you are missing your friends but please remember that I am extremely proud of you all and think you are doing an amazing job!
Week beginning 22nd June
Hello and welcome to week 4 of this half-term!
It was lovely to see so many of you in our class assembly this week and I am looking forward to our next one on Tuesday. Please Dojo me if you have not received an invitation. Please continue to use the Island planning which you can find lower down the page under 8th June. I have also added some more reading comprehension for you to do as well as some science ideas. Enjoy and see you all very soon!
Week beginning 15th June
Hello and welcome to another week! I hope that you are all enjoying the Island Topic? The children in school have been busy drawing maps, writing fact-files and designing and writing about their own creature that lives on their islands. We would love to share some of our work as well as see yours, so I am hoping that we will be able to all get together on Zoom next week. Watch out for an email inviting you.
See you all soon!
Please take a look at the attached resource on building shelters that might help you with your Island topic when you come to writing your instructions.
Friday 19th June Maths
Please log on to the BBC Daily Lessons and complete the activities for your year group.

Monday 8th June
I have simplified the English home learning to make it easier for different year groups to be able to work on similar tasks and to fit in with Willow and Maple Class. As some of you have siblings in those classes, you might even want to share ideas or work together on certain areas of learning. Some of you might have already started this topic and that's fine, just choose another task from the ideas in the booklet and be as creative as you can be. There is not just one way to do this and you might decide to research and explore different ideas to the ones that I have given you. This week in school the children have designed some amazing imaginary animals with some very interesting features and diets! There are a range of tasks to work through between now and the end of term. Work at your own pace and don't worry if you don't complete the whole thing but have fun and be creative! I would love to see what you get up to!
Monday June 1st
Welcome back everybody! I hope that you enjoyed your break and were able to have lots of fun in the sun?
Please find below Maths and English, as well as a couple of Science activities for you to try should you chose to.
Don't forget, that if you have any questions or would like to share anything that you have been up to, then please send me a Dojo - I love hearing from you!
Monday 18th May 2020 - Mental Health Awareness Week
Welcome to another week of learning and to Mental Health Awareness Week.
I hope that you are all okay? Don't forget to take a look at the new resources to support good mental health at this uncertain time. There is a tab on the Self Isolation page here on the website. Please remember that I am always available during the week days if there is anything that you are unsure about, if something is worrying you or you just want to chat! Simply send me a message via Class Dojo and I will respond as quickly as I can.
Also, don't forget to look at the other tabs on the Class Isolation page as there are lots of other activities that might interest you that are on a more practical level. I have also added some more tasks on Purple Mash which you may choose to do should you wish.
Have a great week and thank you for all the photos that you have sent me from your VE Day celebrations!
Year 4 Fractions alternative worksheets - only for those who would like them!

I have had a request to put all the English for the week onto the website to help with printing. I understand that many of you find printing the work easier, but please do not feel you have to. Do whatever works for you and your family. I have included Day 5 but remember Friday is a Bank Holiday, so I will leave it up you what you choose to do that day! I have also included some VE Day activities to keep you busy
Have a fun week and I look forward to hearing what you get up to.
