Maths Resources Week Commencing 22.02.2021
Please complete the activities below for this week's consolidation of Length and Height.
Lesson 2 contains a PowerPoint of Reasoning and Problem Solving questions for your children to work through. Please work through these over two days (Lesson 2 and 3), putting answers into your Maths Book. I would like to see some amazing Math vocabulary and some super explanations of how and why you think your answer is correct. This is a key maths skill we are developing!
Lesson 4 is our end of block assessment for this topic - please allow your children to complete as independently as possible and do send me a comment with the completed sheet on Dojo as to how your children got on!
On Friday (Lesson 5) I would like to challenge you to write your very own Reasoning or Problem Solving question. You can draw your question, use a photograph (maybe you want people to write a sentence compare you and one of your parents heights!) or alternatively you can use real life objects to represent your question! I would like to display these on the website so you can then answer each others! Do not forget to make an answer sheet to go alongside!

Please continue everyday some of the following:
Practice counting in 2's, 5's and 10's
Practice number bonds to 10 and 20

Please remind children that a Part, Part, Whole model just shows the component part of a number sentence.
6 + 4 = 10
